Color!

Today's meeting was very productive indeed. Matt was able to cover the metal wing forms with tissue paper and then we managed to cover all of our background foamcore pieces with wallpaper that matches our couch and chair quite nicely.
Meanwhile Farrell and Jan were able to begin painting two of the bird puppets and the egg. We opted for bright colors, which clash nicely with the bland interior. Things are really starting to look like they're coming together now that we've begun applying color to everything. We'll spend Tuesday's class continuing to paint the birds and rigging the mechanisms so that we can then cut the slit in the back of our set in order to move the puppets as needed.
